Who is Mandy Baker Johnson?
Hello!
Welcome to my blog. I’m a writer and blogger, and this blog contains some of my short stories for you to enjoy. I’ve been happily married to Adrian since 1999 and we (sadly) have no children. I’m a follower of Jesus, as is Adrian, and we’re members of Grace Church Nottingham.
I would love to have you visit my other blog:
http://www.mandybakerjohnson.com/blog which is dedicated to our wee twins (in Heaven) and is mainly about defending the unborn.
I love this inspiring quotation, which I’ve slightly adapted:
A great writer is one who is able to look at the horizon rather than at an enclosed field, or a local landscape. He has a marvellous way of connecting every subject with eternity past and with eternity to come…. It is as though you were looking at a bit of carved wood in a Swiss village window, and you lifted your eyes and saw the forest where the wood was nourished, and, higher still, the everlasting snows!
Yes, be willing to stop at the village window, but always link the streets with the heights, and send souls a-roaming over the eternal hills of God.
Henry Jowett
